If you have the drivers correctly installed, Just try press "fn" + "F10". that activates and deactivates the smartcam.

The solution is (even if it sound abit awkward and strange) this:
Turn of the computer.
remove battery.
start computer on ac-power
turn on computer and press F2 multiple times to enter BIOS
go to the last menu and reset settings to default settings.
save and restart computer (still on AC without battery)
when computer is fully booted, shut down again.
insert battery and boot up again.
it should now work when you start YouCam.
im not sure if all the steps are necassary, but i followed this guide and got it working !

the problems is that it saves the video in a compressed codec....I do believe it will run normally if you install real player ..I know that real player used some kinda of file like this ...but to solve the problem be more aware in which file type you save the capture...I also sugest to find a capture program which will have more obtions...or a converter ..to convert the captures into avi...divx type ...
