I am trying to realign the front wheels on my 42 inch husqvarna riding lawn mower. Both wheel wont line up at the same time. What is the step by step prceedure?
If this is your front end, I'd say you probably bent the linkage rods. 61 & 62.
Most alignments start with the steering wheel centered, bring the closest wheel in to alignment, then work the other one in. Again, on these the links often get bent.
There's a few things that could be wrong the first simple thing is to check the bushings in the wheels while you're at it look at the spindle for where a lot of times those spindles will bend sometimes you just put a piece of pipe over them you can bend them back
For $24, Amason has adjustable drag link.

Most front ends for riding lawn mowers, need to be greased. In addition to this, most of the rims for the front tires, have a nipple for a grease gun, which also need to be lubricated.

There tie rod ends on those rods that can be adjusted,if you see no visible threads than you may need to adjust the other side to match the one tha looks like it is swung out ,maybe it is swung in.
