there is no make of tv brand, model, year you purchased it?
in australia we no longer broadcast analog only in digital now.. so if your tv does not tune in to any station/channel its analog.. you can still use it if you connect a set top box or a device which has a digital tuner. set top boxes are around $30 , even a second hand one would be ok or a free one from gumtree online classified
There is no mystery, seriously. You send a fax exactly the same way as you make a phone call; instead of talking to a person, your fax machine talks to another fax machine. Clicks, squeals, buzz sounds.
If it says it's busy, well, it's busy If it doesn't answer, it's not set to AUTO RECEIVE If it says OFF HOOK another device is using YOUR phone line.
If you don't hear a dial tone when you press the HOOK or MONITOR key, the phone line is dead. Check the line with a regular phone.
If a dial tone sounds weird, it is a DIGITAL phone line. You need an ANALOG or regular phone line.
ALL FAX MACHINES ARE ANALOG DEVICES AND WILL NOT WORK RELIABLY ON A DIGITAL SYSTEM OR A COMPUTER....Magic Jack, Vonage, etc. are DIGITAL PHONE SYSTEMS. Don't believe what the Vendor tells you. They are for designed for VOICE GRADE PHONE CALLS ONLY.
The settings in your fax machine were designed by people who are a lot smarter and make more money than us. DON"T MESS WITH THE PARAMETERS.
A little more information about the make and model of your amplifier would make it much easier to tell you exactly what button where to press on your amplifier.
But I am sure I can point you in the right direction.
Analog only means that although you have connected your DVD player or Settop box to your amplifier on the digital coaxial input you have not yet setup all that needs to be setup.
Start by checking that you have enabled the digital coaxial output on you DVD player. You can set the following if it is available: 1: Select your Digital output to ON 2: Dolby Digital setting must be Dolby digital 3: MPEG switched to MPEG, not PCM 4: Select 96Khz/24bit or higher data transfer on coaxial cable. Note - all these setting might not be available depending on the manufacturer.
Now you will already know the input switching on the amplifier - so select DVD.
Now to activate the coaxial port you must look for a button named "input mode" either on the amplifier itself or on the remote.
You've not given us the manufacturer, make and model number, but I see 3 analog inputs on the left and the usb on the right. This tells me the analog audio and video signals must come from a dvd or vcr or tv-tuner. You say getting channels, so I'm assuming you've not hooked up to a digital ready tv hooked to cable or dish or digital converter. THERE ARE NO MORE ANALOG SIGNAL CHANNELS ANYMORE. Everything went digital in June 2009. So there you have it. If you don't have usable information going in, you can't get it out. try it with sterio audio and video from a digital tv that is receiving channels, and I think you'd then see sterio and video out of your pc. Sanyo's customer service responded that this TV is not digital. If it's connected to an antenna, you will need to purchase a Digital to Analog converter box.
First thing to check, would be that there is no oily liquid or residue around or on the printed circuit boards underneath where the picture tubes are. If there is, one or more of the tubes are leaking out the coolant and the seals will need to be repaired as well as the board, if it is not beyond repair. If that does not work, check out the power supply voltage . Check to see if the horizontal output transistor is shorted, or that the convergence Ic's are not causing the set not to start up. Good Luck
