Hi, i have a Bosch Exxcel washing machine. the child lock is on (there is a flashing key). I have tried to follow the instructions shown on the booklet to deactivate the childproof lock, however it seems not to work. I have selected each of the programme selector and I was holding the finish in button for approx 5 to 10 sec. can you please help as I have no idea what to do to turn the lock off?? We had similar problem, with the spin cycle not working. We opened the 'drain' pipe (front-right bottom side). It was full of lime scale; never been opened for years. We cleaned it up and the spin cycle is now working.

This is symbol shows that the child lock has been activated. This can only be turned on/off at the beginning or end of washing programme. To activate/de-activate this, just press and hold the Start/Pause button in for 5 seconds. The time settings will then re-appear and then you can proceed as normal

I think you press and hold for ten secs to clear its a childlock

all lights are flashing on bosch classixx express no thinh working no water intake door is locked what is the problem and can i do it myself

Power on, press the start button for 5 or 6 seconds, the sign will go off. Try the door gently.
