If coolant is leaking inside the vehicle, then your heater core is leaking. The heater core is a radiator looking piece that is mounted in the HVAC box in the dash and it allows heat from the hot coolant inside and the blower fan blows air through it which pulls the heat from the heater core out through the vents. The heater core is really the only component inside the vehicle that has coolant in it.

You didn't say what was leaking, water or antifreeze. If it is water dripping, your drain tube from the AC evaporator compartment is blocked. Clear that and the condensation will drain outside the car. If it is antifreeze, your heater core has a leak and will need to be replaced.

check if you have installed the timing belt correctly. there is a hose under the intake manifold that gets soft and leaks please check it.

sounds like a water pump going out. There should be a weep hole on the water pump if it is leaking it is an indicator to replace it very soon.

What type of antifreeze is used with a 2005 Ford Focus
Hello mk12x.

Ford specification is Motorcraft Premium Engine Coolant VC-4-A (in Oregon VC-5, in Canada CXC-10) or equivalent meeting Ford specification ESE-M97B44-A (green color) with a mix of 50-50 coolant and clean water.

Have your belt(s) checked for tightness, have your water pump checked, replace the thermostat and ALWAYS keep enough antifreeze in the system to protect it to 20° below zero. It is also anti-boil.
