My daughter is uaable to send and and receive mail using Windows Live Mail however you is able to send and receive on Outlook Express using the same settings. I get Error message 0x0x800CCC0F(Connection...

1. Dissable any firewall you may have running ( windows firewall , norton firewall , macafee firewall )

2. Attempt to email again using your outlook express.

3. If you no longer receive the error message turn the firewall back on and configure it to allow
exceptions.

4. Configure the firewall to allow outlook express to be able to connect to the internet under all circumstances.

You may need to consult your firewalls documentation to configure it correctly.
Or you may ask one of our Experts.

You will need to explain to them what firewall you actually have.

Thank you for choosing FixYa.
