How is it hooked up to the TV. For instance via a scart lead. These can cause connection problems, try replacing it with a new one.

You hook the DVD player to the RCA jacks on the buttom back of the set, where it says Video input.

I have a 32 inch RCA LCD TV. when I play a movie, every 2=3 minutes to goes back to the blue screen, and blinks a few times then goes back to the movie. Its with every movie and I dont think it is my dvd...

Probably the Controller unit for the TV. Try hooking it up through a different connection type e.g. HDMI, component. See if that fixes the issue for the time being. If it dies then those ports you used previously are malfunctioning.

Try going into menu input set up on tv and switch to av input. Just a thought I have the same model and had exact problem. All I had to do was change input style to av cable.

Try Fn+ F5 look at the function keys you should see a TV icon from laptop on key press this with the Fn key as it may be slightly different fkeys with models

When entering my usb stick or looking on the on screen settings, i can only select view pics or play music! how do i get the movie option

some OS's do not give that option when plugging in a usb device.... however if that is the case then click on MY COMPUTER > REMOVEABLE DRIVE (Whatever your pendrive is located) Then click on the movies :)

yes, if your flat panel has speakers built into it. just hook dvd into video input with yellow, red . & white cables. sound will come thru tv speakers that way. mch

I`ll have to be the bearer of bad news, the image is not burned onto the screen it is burned into all 3 of your picture tubes, which basically means the set is junk because the cost is too high.
