Hi.... i was just listening to my sansa e2000 player, when it just automatically shut down, and when i turned it on, all it did was lit up the blue light on the scroll and it has been 4 hours and yet the light is still on.. what could possibly resolve this issue?
Sometimes the player freezes. Instead of waiting for the battery to run out, hold the power button for about 15 seconds. Something that screwed up mine: before unplugging it from the computer, find the player under 'my comptuer' and right-click it, then click eject and wait 5 seconds for it to eject.
The same thing happened to mine. I tried to charge it and the blue light remained on. After an hour or so of trying to charge I disconnected it and pressed the on button and held it for 30 seconds and the light went off and I could turn it on. I then charged it and it appears to be working.
