Epson 4000

The error relates to a carriage movement error detected by the printer. This means the printer has detected too much power is required ti move the print head. Reason : All these Service Requests (Service Requests 00010004 , 00010005, 00010006, 00010007, 0001000A, 0001000F, 0001001D) are related to a Carriage movement error that is not automatically due to a Hardware fault. The reasons can be : - The carriage is lock not completely released. - The carriage lock has been partially pushed in after a paper jam or maintenance (for example). Reminder : The carriage lock must be released after unpacking the printer (see setup instructions) as follow : Points to check : In case such an error appears: - Power off the printer. - Ensure the Carriage lock is released (pulled to the left side) - Pushing down the cutter blade, slide the carriage to the left ? At the same time, please check if there is any foreign materials / dust / paper jam in the carriage path. If so, remove them. - Also, make sure that the carriage encoder (T-Fence) isn?t dirty and is correctly set and centered. Let me know how you get on with this info.

working properly. Press ✔. Press 􀀙 until INFORMATION is highlighted.
Press ✔. Press 􀀙 until PRINT CONFIGURATION is highlighted. Press ✔ to
print the page. If the configuration page does not print, consult the CD User Guide for more info on task.

hope this solves it. if not,

you may try this :

the print cartridge.

Remove the sealing tape from the print
cartridge for the color that is missing. See
Changing print cartridges.

Inconsistent colors after installing a print cartridge

The sealing tape has not been removed from
the print cartridge.

Another print cartridge may be low. Check the supplies gauge on the control panel
or print a supplies status page. See Printer

please give use more info to the problem if it still persists and we can try and pinpoint further

Light directly below the four color cartridge lights is blinking. Won't print. Can't find my owners manual

If error number 40204 was writtent to the error log, the imaging drum is either empty or missing (I would suspect empty). If error number 10004 was written to the error log, the imaging drum e-reader may have failed. So, in either case, reinsert the imaging drum. If the light continues to blink and the Attention light (exclamation point in a triangle) is not on, turn the printer off and then back on. If this does not clear the error, replace the imaging drum with a new one. Again, if the light continues to blink and the Attention light is off, turn the printer off and then back on.

If the error persists after these steps, let us know and we can persue other options.

Hp 2840 laserjet has a 10-10004 error

That is a supply error. Try changing the toner that you last replaced. If it is generic then the micro chip that the unit reads on the toner cartridge may not be good. It is common with recyclers.
