Motorola v3 won't work.

that is controlled by the bottom right soft key on the screen when it is open,sometimes i have seen where it is a ppl error while opening the screen you accidentally hit that button,you can go into the setup on your phone and change what the keys do.

Hit your Voice command button on the right upper outside of phone, Hit Settings Hit 1 make sure Automatic is Checked, hit ok
Now Try Voice Command button again, and then hit your upper Right Softkey for Help on commands...

you will need to replaced the flexcable on the phone also try having the keypad flexfile reflash in the phone. To correct this issue

Voice command is activated by the side button that is alone (right side if your facing the phone's screen) when the phone is closed. I don't know how to prevent the phone from doing that, but I do know how to make sure the phone does not say "Please say a command."

Voice Commands (#1 on the list)
Hit settings, which is going to be the right bumper button (above the CLR key)
Go to prompts (#5 on the list)
Mode (#1 on the list)
It will be currently set on prompts, which is why it says "Please say a command." You can either set it to readout or tones only. Tones produces a short beep. Readouts only displays text (no noises). Being that you have your phone on silent, I assume you want readouts.

That will at least prevent stop the phone from making random statements in your pocket. Hope this helps.

do a master reset press the menu button go down the left hit the middle buton then go down 5 select...then go up twice select the put in ur security code if u havent changed it it is 000000 hit the top right buttton twice and jus wait for a minute it should work and dont worry nothing wi be erased

v3 mic problem

the voice key is on the side of the display screen same side as pwr hold that to record your voice let go when finished

sounds more like a physical fault,

I have the EXACT same problem...driving me nuts. Someone please HELP.
