Question about Motorola Mobility RAZR V3
I have an annoying customer that has gotten ahold of my cell phone number and I want to block his call. Is there a way within the cell phone I can block this number?
Yes, sort of: go to Settings->Security->Enter lock code here if you've created one(otherwise ignore this step)->Limit Use->Restrict Incoming Calls
From this step, you'll have to choose to restrict incoming calls from anyone NOT in your Contacts

To ANSWER your problem NO you cannot sinlge someone or some company out..you would think with all the technology they would make this capability. Closest you can come is go to settings >security> lock or unlock and choose 1 of the 3 options. all none address book only. closest you can get

If you have read the one about setting it to silent and you don't have silent setting just record nothingness for a second and use that as their caller ringtone

I'm pretty sure call blocking is removed for a reason. It isn't a technology issue, it's that phone companies don't want to tangle with large credit card companies and other bill collectors who make money through harrassing phone calls.

That sucks... this is needed more than many other features that it has.

Can you block a number that you don't want your children to call?

Add them to your address book, save them to the phone (NOT the SIM), and set their ring type to "Silent" - they'll still call, but your phone won't ring. Well, it won't ring if it's on normal ring settings. If you have the phone set to vibrate for some reason the ring type seems to be ignored and it will vibrate anyway.

closest you can get
ell, there's a solution after all. See solution 3: ( quote )
Now, if you :
1. Copy to the address book ONLY THE CONTACTS you wish to ignore ( keep a backup of the whole contact directory for safety reasons)
2. follow the quoted procedure and add to "ignore" the "all the address book" names. That is, "Check address book"
3. being in the address book only the blackballed users , you are safe. Aren't you ?
4. Buy a symbian phone and install cr4cked BlackBaller from Killer MObile , It's a .sis file and you can find 30000 of these in the interne ( If you Buy NOKIA S60 v.r phone, go to Mos.nokia site or ovi.com, there's pentyof call filters !!)
5. Otherwise, having a symbian phone, download for free Wanfy mobile filter". You'll smile with it !!
Have a nice day,
