No PS3 signal on TV using HMDI or Component Parts

My Philips 37PF7320A/37 TV doesn't recognize my PS3 when using HDMI or component parts. I am moving my PS3 from a newer TV to this one, any suggestions?

It could be that either HDMI port could be bad or you might want to try a different hdmi cable. The cable could be bad.

SOURCE: ps3?

Check the couplings at either end of the cable. Sometimes these will loosen and can cause a lack of signal strength.

but its probably not the cable, its probably the ps3. HDMI cables don't really break because they are just wires, they don't have moving parts. Try connecting your PS3 to your TV with the regular cable red, white, and yellow connectors that you got when you bough the PS3. If the PS3 doesn't work with the original red, white, and yellow connectors then you know its the PS3. If the PS3 does work fine, you know its either the HDMI cable (still unlikely) or the HDMI connection on your TV or PS3 (more likely

SOURCE: Ive had my PS3 hooked up using HDMI for years now

Hook it up with the component cable and then hold the power button on the console until something comes up on screen. Make sure you have selected the component input on your tv or else you wont get anything anyway.

What holding the power button does is it resets the video settings to the lowest common denominator and then you can reconfigure it for the optimal picture quality of the component cables.

If that doesn't work double check the component connections on the back of the TV and just make sure they are where they should be and that no accidents were made while hooking it up.

Please post the results from these steps here so that I know what happened.

Philips model 37PF7320A won't turn on

The power supply regulator section is not working properly. It will be best to replace this board as card basis rather than trying to make it right. Philips have used some special numbered components there, which are very difficult to get from open electronic spare part market. Contact the nearest authorized service center for Philips to buy a new board.

I have a tedelex plasma tv the model of the plasma is ec pd300 . on any in put the plasma says there no signal

if any of the component input doesn't work or not recognized a source the cause will be a bad signal input board. check for bad component like open resistance and burnt parts.

I have an older 2004 or so philips hdtv projection tv with the built in tv stand. i want to connect my HD cable box but there are no hdmi ports. and i buy a wire with the VGA on one end and hdmi on the...

Get a component video cable (blue, green, red) and a separate RCA audio cable (white and red) if your cable box has a component video output and the TV has a component video input.

If your cable box doesn't have the component output, you will need a converter to go from the HDMI to component video. Something like this: http://www.hdtvsupply.com/hdmi-to-component.html . There are other converters available if your TV has some other inputs available.

A cable that has an HDMI M on one end and a VGA M on the other will not work. HDMI signals from the set top box are a digital signal. The VGA port on the TV is set to read an RGB analog signal. (Similarly a component to VGA cable would not work since the RGB and PbPrY are not compatible.)

I hope this helps.

47 7300 only one Hdmi port is working

just open the back cover to access the internal part of the tv unit. now re soldered the pin terminal port of the other HDMI port usually a cause is loose contact. after that if still doesn't recognized and not working fine the other port you will need a digital tester check open component resistor as will as shorted diode connected going to the pin terminal of the HDMI port so that the input signal will be recognized. replaced defective component with the same value. hope this will solved the problem thanks for consulting through fixya good bless.

Hooked up ps3 using hmdi cable worked not working now using the

mpc heesman1 might be right...

However. I´m inclined to think that you did change the input on your TV. So your problem is another, this is what you have to to to reset:

1. Unplug the HDMI cable from both the TV and PS3.
2. Plug in the AV MULTI OUT cable (the red, white, yellow one provided along with the system) to both your PS3 and TV.
3. Set the TV input to the correct one and turn it on.
4. turn on the PS3 with the front button but DON´T release it, keep your finger on it, until you hear a second beep, thats when you release the button, the PS3 will start to identify what it´s connected to and will display it on your TV.

Hope it helps.

My hd tv

to view anything in High definition you have to connect to your tv using either the DVI, Component or HDMI inputs. Your cam or anything you want to view HD videos from will need to have a lead to suit these inputs, the component lead will consist of an input from camera to five seperate coloured leads or an oblong DVI connector or HDMI which looks similair to a usb connector. You will need then on your tv to select the resolution of 720P or 1080I to view the HD picture.
