My Philips 37PF7320A/37 TV doesn't recognize my PS3 when using HDMI or component parts. I am moving my PS3 from a newer TV to this one, any suggestions?

PS3 is The amazing device by sony but it has some common problems like no video display, sound problem etc.... Good news is that these all problems can be repaired with the help of DIY Guides, one such guide available at PS3 Repair Blog
SOURCE: ps3?
Check the couplings at either end of the cable. Sometimes these will loosen and can cause a lack of signal strength.
but its probably not the cable, its probably the ps3. HDMI cables don't really break because they are just wires, they don't have moving parts. Try connecting your PS3 to your TV with the regular cable red, white, and yellow connectors that you got when you bough the PS3. If the PS3 doesn't work with the original red, white, and yellow connectors then you know its the PS3. If the PS3 does work fine, you know its either the HDMI cable (still unlikely) or the HDMI connection on your TV or PS3 (more likely

it's usually a grounding issue with yoru cable connection. disconnect your coaxial cable from your tv and you'll lose your humming and lines.
SOURCE: Ive had my PS3 hooked up using HDMI for years now
Hook it up with the component cable and then hold the power button on the console until something comes up on screen. Make sure you have selected the component input on your tv or else you wont get anything anyway.
What holding the power button does is it resets the video settings to the lowest common denominator and then you can reconfigure it for the optimal picture quality of the component cables.
If that doesn't work double check the component connections on the back of the TV and just make sure they are where they should be and that no accidents were made while hooking it up.
Please post the results from these steps here so that I know what happened.
