First of all you check on your motherboard for front panel wiring ok or not. Just like this 0a115484-cd2a-4776-a9d2-308bc688c789.gif

I HAVE HYTECH PCI SOUND CARD. BUT MY FRONT PANEL AUDIO IS NOT WORKING. HOW TO SOLVE

Hello there,
1. You must trace the front panel audio headers if it is attached to the right device.
2. Remove audio headers from the mother board if you are using a PCI sound card.
3. Check if your sound card has the proper audio headers.
4. Next configure your audio software if same jacks are tied up.

The image below is a Typhoon sound card, the rectangle box signifies audio headers. I don't have a clear image of your audio headers. It would be a big help for us to help you. the images provided below will help you to configure your front panel audio. pcsyke_80.jpg

This is the default header assignment for front panel audio.

Most casing this days have this dependent or intact headers unlike before.

I have mercury mother board and its having nine pinsocket for reset switch, power switch,hd led ,etc but i dont know their proper connections. there are some nos besides but not understandable . can you...

Hi Rajen samani!
Most mercury motherboards with a nine pin front panel connection use the following configuration.
joehaydu_0.jpg
You may want to double check to make sure that your motherboard follows this configuration. Just go to http://www.mercury-pc.com/downloads.php, enter your model number, and you'll be able to download the manual for your board. The jumper configuration should be in a section labeled "Front Panel Connection" or something similar.
Hope that Helps!

Configure front panel audio

Look up the configuration in the manual for the motherboard. It will give you the location of the header set and the pinout. If there is no front audio panel you must jump 4 pins to force the audio to the rear ports. It should describe this in the manual aswell.
