Just built out a new computer with a Giggabyte GA-Z77-D3h mothorboard with 8 gigs of corsair vengance ram, an OCZ SSD, a Corsair TX650 psu. I have a few fans, and an old video card. I plugged everything in, got everything nice and situated, and the computer is stuck in a power loop. I have done everything i could think of to remedy the situation. I have: tested each stick of ram 1 at a time,. no change used just the cpu and board, no dice checked and rechecked every connection and re-seated the CPU, no change Plugged PSU into my old old old mobo and chip, Ran perfectly. Is this just a dead motherboard, or is there something else i can try? I haven't installed an operating system or messed with anything yet, because it wont even load the bios or CMOS.

Reseing the bios shouldn't be a problem go ahead, or is there something I don't know? does it void the warranty? I don't think so.

Sounds like a procie problem.
Check your processor's heatsink, if it really sits flat on your processsor.

Hi, The recommended PSU for your card is 550W.
After you connect it to your motherboard you have to connect a (6pin) PCIE power connector
to the card. Without it the video card will not display anything.
