You need to replace both STKs. They are pretty obvious to find in the unit. They are normally mounted to the same heat sink and will typically be about 3 inches long each, maybe 2 or so high...Front should read something like STK350-120

Your set does NOT use a lamp--it has picture tubes, and if no pix--may have lost one or more convergence chips.

Replace IC Convergance chip in Panasonic PT-56HX41PF

If you are talking about removing old ICs use a cap of Alcohol to pour on top to loosen. Or use needle nose plyers to pull from hole on top side of ic s.

Where can we get the best IC Replacement

always stick with the manufacturers brand ! but you will need to check the resistors on the IC lines to make sure thier values are not off , because that will cause the IC to go again no matter what brand IC you use. other components in line of the IC should also be checked for bad values as they can also cause malfunction and breakdown of an IC and its circuit components

Panasonic PT-47WX53 does not turn on

Yes, I did try to use the power button on the TV itself. That did not work too. Yes, there is blinking red light too. I searched through several sights and found out that it is an issue with the IC 4511. I could not find a place to buy the chip.

By the way, our local TV dealer asked for $400 to fix this issue. I had already spent $400 on a different repair on this TV, 6 months ago.

Any suggestion/advice would be very helpful. Thank you again for your response.

Blue convergence will not move left or right

look at the convergance board it will be the one on the left there re two stk semi-conductors tward the back of the board. most likly one of them are bad but sometimes the soldering can be faulty. look for signs of cold solder if so just resolder and should be good if not also look for burnt resistors. it will be obvious finding the stk 's can be done by using google and just type in the stk # finding the resistors you might try calling panasonic to find the part #by telling them the location of the burnt resistor. good luck. mind you that the soldering of the stk (semi-conductors) you will want to use a heat sink on each terminal you solder otherwise you take a chance of burning the conductor befor you ever get to use it, if you have no exp. soldering i wouldnt sugest trying it !!!!
