Should I leave my dyson v6 motorhead charging when not in use? I've had conflicting responses about this...

Sorry to hear about your problem. Leaving it plugged in all the time does not allow the batter to discharge to a low level for recharging. The battery develops a memory and will not function well. Recharging the battery after using it is better for longer battery life. Please review the instruction manual and follow the manufacturer's recommendations.

Can i leave the dyson V7 plugged into the wall socket even after the machine is fully charged?

Best practice is to remove the plug.

In the old days of ni-cad batteries the high rate of self-discharge meant a machine that had to be permanently ready for use had to be left plugged in.
Today lithium batteries are used with a negligible self-discharge and it is neither necessary or desirable to leave them plugged in.

You should of course refer to the instruction manual for a definitive answer.

If the electronic charging circuitry is perfect the charging unit can safely be left plugged in indefinitely, but how many things are perfect...

Question. I have a dyson V8 and it said to leave it plugged in for 5 hours to recharge before using. I had to leave the house and it has been over 5 hours. Will this harm the vacuum?

If you are using the Dyson charger made for the vac then leaving it plugged in for over the recommended time will do not harm. The battery will only charge so much then stop charging.
You're OK.

My dyson 59 stop working after few second

Definitely make sure the battery is fully charged before using your product (try leaving the battery on charge overnight). If you are unable to get it to remain on, there may be other issues causing the malfunction. You might want to contact Dyson directly for more specialized support.

Should a dyson v8 cordless vacuum be left charging when not in use? Or when I see the 3 lights unplug it?

im sure it maybe fine to leave on the charging base since the battery pack in it is managed by an onboard battery management chip that protects it from overcharging but if you wish to it is save to unplug it if you only wish to do so

Will it harm the machine to leave it plugged into to the charging cradle all the time? I have a Dyson V6 Stick

I leave mine on all the time, I will unplug it do want I got to do & plug it back on charge even if it is for 1 min. of use & the is still plenty of juice in it & I haven't noticed any problems or loss of power & it runs for the same length of time. However I don't know whether it is using more electricity buy doing this, or it may only draw the power it needs.

Can I leave the battery charger plugged in my Dyson dc 44 animal after it is fully charged?

Hi, I have a Dyson DC56 with a lithium battery for about 18 months and I leave it plugged into it's charger when not in use. I do notice the Dyson charger seems to switch off automatically when charged. I don't have any problems so far. It you have a Genuine Dyson Lithium battery and the genuine Dyson charger it should not be a problem. That is because Lithium batteries have very precise requirements for their charging cycles and therefore the correctly designed charger required to make them work safely is a somewhat intelligent design and needs to be of good quality in having to meet those requirements. So use the original Dyson Charger. Also most high current Lithium Batteries will also have a protection circuit built in further increasing safety and reliability. Just don't use cheap cloned Chinese made Lithium chargers, because you will never know if they have been designed or even will operate correctly.
Now if you have old technology Ni Cad (Nickel Cadmium), LA (Lead acid) or NiMH batteries with basic cheap chargers they should not really be left connected to a charger full time.
