I have a Kodak all in one printer and there seems to be a printhead issue with them. After researching it, I ordered a new one from the Kodak website and installed it (super easy with included instructions). It moves and prints like new and it was cheaper than a new printer.

Change print head on kodak 5300 printer

Are your asking how to replace the printhead?

First you need to turn On the printer and open the printer access door where you can see the Ink. Now wait for the Printhead to stop into the middle then remove the ink cartridges both ink and black., Now to rmove the Old printhead you need to press a Tab which is hidden on the printhead., heres the step to remove the printhead which for me the hardest part

-Point your index finger on the white sticker that attached on the printhead or the bullseye sticker(If theres no white sticker on the print head just put your index finger on the middle of the printhead)

-Now your index finger is on the middle of the white sticker right? Move your index finger upward unti you feel a latch that you can press., Just press and full then your printhead wil be removed

-Now Your ready to insert your new printhead
-To insert new printhead just put the printhead on the carriage of the printer and gently press the white sticker of your new printhead make sure that you will hear a clicking sounds then put your cartridges back

-Theres some instances that the printhead will not stay on the middle., it keeps on staying on the right or on the leftside for you to solve that heres the step

-Turn on the printer open printer access door and wait for the printhead move into the center and if the printhead its on the center immediately unplug the power cable so the printhead will not move.
