Wheres my bilge pump

I cant locate my bilge pump on my 2002 nitro bass boat

It's located in the rear compartment centered on the bottom of the boat in front of the transom.

SOURCE: I have a Nitro 929 dual console bass boat 20 ft. I

Disconnected all the circuits at the battery end. Reattached each circuit one at a time . I connected the hot lead first then used a fluke voltmeter on mil amp setting -used the red lead to the end of the load wire black negative end and the black fluke lead to the negative battery post -- registered the current draw and found the circuit that was draining battery then went to each device on the circuit in this case it was a bad bilge pump motor for some reason it was shorting out but not enought to blow the circuit fuse.

All boats (except ProStar) have two drain plugs, which allow water to be drained from the boat when the boat is OUT of the water. There is a center T-handle drain (the only one for a ProStar) and a transom drain plug. The lower plug is located in the center of the transom at the lowest point. It will be under water when the boat is in the water.

look under deck at the transom in the drain well. Also--Google 1999 Nitro boat wiring diagram and you will see images that include the location of the pump along the transom Starboard side.

Bilge pump on 1996 nitro bass boat inop
Check to make sure the fuse is good and you have power going to the switch and then to the wires (brown for positive and black for negative) in the bilge area using a 12 volt tester. If you have power to the brown wire while grounded to the black wire then the pump will need to be cleaned, have the impeller replaced or replace the pump. The pump is located in the rear compartment attached to a board mounted to the inside bottom of the boat at the center near the transom.

Sorry about your dad,I do have a nitro boat 17dc the only buttons I would say they are is the bilge pump, airrater,running lights, or to bring up the motor. If this dose not help if you are close to a bass proshops they will help you get a book for your boat they do sell the nitro boats there.good luck

Bass tracker fuse descriptions
I was trained at a tracker dealership and that is one of their faults. The best way to find the fuse for the bilge pump is to look on the back of the bilge switch and trace a wire to the fuse panel. Most of the time they are color coordinated so you can match fairly easy without trying to manually probe for the wire.
