THE TIMER KNOB ON THE KCO10050B IS CRACKED INSIDE AND NO LONGER TURNS THE TIMER.
I've had the same problem. I checked out the Kitchen Aid website, called the toll-free number listed on the site (800-541-6390), and talked to a very pleasant and helpful customer service representative. She said she would be sending a free replacement knob that would arrive in 7 to 10 days. It may sound ominous, but if ya can't fix ya, ya gotta replaceya!
Used the phone number above to talk with customer service and found them excellent. No problem, She is sending a new part free, You will need to have the model and serial number located on the back of the machine on white sticker. (800-541-6390)is the toll free number.
I had the same problem with a broken timer knob. I contacted KitchenAid Customer Service directly and they replaced the knob at no charge. Their tel.# is 800-541-6390 (M- F 8AM - 8PM EST). I hope that you receive the same friendly customer service that I did.

The inside plastic section that fits over the steel shaft broke and I have tried to super glue it but it won't hold.
Yep, same here too. Is anything built to last anymore? Or even have replaceable parts?
timer knob broke on inside. Have only used oven three times

My timer knob is broken. How can I order only that part?
I called to get 2 new knobs that broke and they were ignorant....wanted to charge me 30.00. Kitchen aide purports to be top of the line, I had problems with my over the stove microwave too, another plastic piece that holds a stainless piece over the door broke, neither Sears or Kitchenaide were helpful. Don;t be fooled by the name. They won't see another penny from me.
