This model does not take a standard power. You need a special adapter.

This LCD uses a standard 115V (in the US anyway) computer power cord. Here is a link from ebay with a good picture of what you want: http://cgi.ebay.com/25-6-feet-UL-listed-Universal-pc-computer-Power-Cord_W0QQitemZ330081474620QQihZ014QQcategoryZ45342QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem Let us know if you have any other questions and again please don't forget to rate this post.

Wats the best cable to use to replacement my AOC monitor

This depends on what you use it for, for standard pc use, any normal VGA cable will do. If you are into gaming or graffics, you might want to consider Belkin. Hope this helps

Dell 2001FP Monitor Problem

I have seen many of these. It appears the video processor board is dying or dead. You can replace the board or the monitor.

Monitor has no power or wont turn on

Gumpster, Yes, there are replaceable parts inside, however, the question is can it be fixed economically. If this was supposed to be working I would return it as fast as you can. If not then it could be your logic board ($80 approx) or your external power supply ($25 approx). If you decide to pursue this take proper precautions to protect yourself and the monitor components.
