Ok with that issue your hard drive is either not connected correctly or your hard drive has gone bad.

You can replace the Main board but how is the cost compaired to a newer machine? You can repl the main board with out much if any hassel to your windows install. If you repl w/ a different manufacture main board you will have to re-reg with windows.

SOURCE: dell inspiron 530s won't boot up and gives me 4

4 Beeps indicates a RAM memory failure. Disconnect power, press and hold the power button to release all power from the motherboard, then re-seat the Memory.

If error doesn't go away, try modules one at a time to find the bad one

SOURCE: Dell Inspiron 530 mobo dead, beeps 2x, no video

The two beep code means no memory was detected. This might mean bad memory, memory that's loose in its socket, or a system board problem.

Make sure all the memory is firmly seated and latched into the sockets.

If you have only one RAM module installed, try substituting a known good part of the same type to see if the trouble clears up. If the memory still isn't detected you'll need a new motherboard.

If you have more than one RAM module, try them one at a time to see if you can isolate which is causing the trouble. (Testing the motherboard with known good memory is always a good thing to try. I have seen computers where all three RAM sticks were bad at one time, so I wrongly thought the motherboard was at fault. I always keep some good memory around for testing now.)

Good luck, and thanks for using Fixya!

I have a dell 580 inspiron thats does not turn on..before it turned on but now it just beeps and doesnt follow through with start up.......i had a blue screeen before this ....thanxx

Blue screen could be the windows files getting corrupted due to a virus, file fragmentation or a failing hard drive, overheating cpu or failing memory.
The beeping usually indicates a hardware failure, first open the computer and see it the CPU heatsink is in place properly seated and fan is connected and spinning.
Second with the PC off, remove and reinsert the memory.
These are just a few things to check , most likely the hard drive has failed and needs replacing.
pressing certain keys during bootup can sometimes isolate the issue, but only if the monitor still shows a picture
I hope this helps
Thanks
