I set the oven temp to 500 and the oven stazys at about 400. I just replaced the thermostat and i need to know how to calibrate it?
If you pull the knob off there is a very little screw in there that you can turn with a small screwdriver. I believe left is increase and right is decrease, but I could be wrong. Very little turns do a lot. You can tell if you are going the right way if the burners get bigger or not. This takes a while so do a 1/4 turn and let it sit for a while, take temp and adjust again if needed.

Press and hold the bake button for 5 seconds, will go to calibrate mode, press the up or down temp to adjust yiour oven + or - 30'
SOURCE: Calibration
Electric ovens are calibrated behind the temp knob. Pull the knob straight off of the shaft and look at the back of the knob. There should be a metal slide with a scale and a little set screw. Loosen the screw and move the slide in the direction indicated for your needs.

ther is a temp sensor that goes from the control valve to the oven, this may be the problem, make sure sensor probe is tight where it screws into the gas valve and other end is not just hanging in the oven, it attaches to the top of oven,if it's where it's supose to be, I'd change that first
