My GE Profile Convection Microwave Oven - Convection not working

The Microwave oven works - The control panel appears to work properly - BUT - the convection oven will NOT HEAT - or work properly - the fan comes on - and it does not heat at all. All fuses were checked OK, and reset electronics by unplugging unit. The Convection oven still won't heat. What do you think is wrong ?

    Microwave is fine but covection oven does not heat up!

The convection part of my GE Microwave/Convection Oven doesn't work. The Microwave part still works fine.
To help you with free DIY or other info, we would need your full model number as shown on the tag in the cooking cavity or elsewhere on the oven.

The FCC ID number from the same tag might be helpful for diagnosis, too.

My GE Profile Countertop Convection/Microwave Oven PEB1590DMBB Has stopped working.
It sounds like you may have a shorted cook relay on the control circuit board which can be repaired simply and inexpensively.

Door switches

If one of the door interlock switches is not switching properly or there is a condensation problem on the sensor control panel, either can cause the turntable/light/oven to come on even though the "Starts" button has not been depressed due to the wiring of the switches.
Check for faulty door switches and/or contaminated actuators.
