ASUS MyPal A632 turning off by itself

My ASUS MyPal A632 began to turn off by itself. It is not backlight, but the complete unit is turned off. Than very often it refuses to be turn on by switch on/off button. Only way to turn it on is to use reset button. But sometimes you have to repeat this few times until it stay stable for while. Then after while the same problem. Battery is OK! It is under warranty and I believe this maybe the case send it back for service?

SOURCE: ASUS MyPal A632 will not boot up.

Happened the same for me.
After lots of digging & googling I found the simple solution:

At the back of the PDA there is a "Hold" button. Change the position back and it starts to respond as usual before.

Asus mypal A639 keeps shutting down

I had this problem on my A639 after going on holiday with it (I think the x-ray scanners did something to it). It started switching itself off more and more as the days went by until one day it went off and never came back. After resetting it, it just stayed on the blue "ASUS Rock Solid Heart Touching" screen. I was worried that it was totally broken and I'd have to pay to get it repaired, but after searching the internet it turned out all I needed to do was re-flash the ROM with a fresh copy (I used the latest ROM). It now works fine and no longer turns itself off... didn't cost me ANYTHING to fix :-)

Im getting an orange power light when charging allso it wont power on

Usually that indicates a hardware problem. Try removing the battery and leaving it out overnight then with the charger ONLY try turning it back on. If it turns on GREAT. Now try it with the battery back in.

If that doesn't work it's toast :(

Loox 710 will not turn on or charge, i have been charging the battery for over 24 hours, and still nothing, is there an internal battery and how to i get to it to change it

If you have the right charger with cable and can plug in at the bottom of the LOOX,then You can use the 710 WITHout removal battery (LiON). The internal backup battery
will charge then The internal backup battery is NiHm and will sometimes NOT recognized by WindowsMobile. P.lease check several times energy state in WindowsMobile
(green bar shows percentage). If you have craddle and charger you can try to charge removal battery in slot behind plastic shield.

If you not have the rigth charger try to lend a ASUS MyPal A serie (A632 aso) it will fit

My ASUS A626 pda won't turn on. Screen dark

Next to the headphone jack, on the longer side, you will find a "HOLD" slider switch. It is presently showing red, meaning engaged. Push it back to the off, or normal position. This will release the lockup.
