Try this,i did,

1.Play some music,so your on the music screen.
2.Once on the music screen,click blackberry symbol button
3.Scroll down to ''Activate Speakerphone'
4.It should become much louder!
Or just try turning it up at the side.

if this does not solve your problem it may already be on that setting,it could be faulty?!,Hope This Helps

SOURCE: I can't receive files via bluetooth on my Blackberry Bold

When you want to receive a bluetooth file do the following:

1. Go to Media.
2. Hit the menu key (left of trackball) and select Explore.
3. Browse to the folder you want to store the file in.
5. Hit Menu key again and select "receive using bluetooth."
6. Send from the other phone.

You'll have to do this for each file individually.

Hold down the blackberry key till a menu pops up. Those are the "tasks" running.
You can scroll to the one you want to "kill", it'll open it. Then always go to menu, exit. That's the only way to "kill" a running app. Just closing out of it keeps it in idle.

Blackberry BT File Transfer is a little different than other handsets. when your wanting to receive a file transfer goto 'MEDIA' , select the type of media (picture, music, etc) click the 'BB Button' to get more options, and select 'Receive using Bluetooth' and then have your friend initiat the BT file transfer

you have to select the option "receive via bluetooth" to be able to receive files to your phone. this can be done when you are in the media folder. press the menu button, then select "receive via bluetooth" when sending files from your pc/other phones.

Complete the following steps:
1) Use a search engine or a dedicated download site to find and download a third-party conversion tool. The tool must have the ability to convert the format of the audio or video file to a file format that the Media application can read.
2) Install the third-party conversion tool and follow the program instructions to convert the audio or video file to a format that the Media application supports. Refer to the following tables for optimal settings in the Media application.
Optimal settings for the Media application on the BlackBerry 9000 series smartphones:-
For video setting's
a) Video format: MPEG-4.
b) Video file extension: .avi
c) Resolution (4:3): 240x180
d) Resolution (16:9): 320x180
e) Video bitrate: 400 Kbps
f) Frames per second: 24

For Audio settings:-
a) Audio format: MP3
b) Audio bitrate: 128 Kbps
c) Sample rate: 44 kHz
d) Channels: 2 (Stereo)

Transfer the audio or video file from the computer to the BlackBerry smartphone using one of the following methods:-
1) Using BlackBerry Desktop Manager.
Note: BlackBerry Desktop Manager 4.2 must be installed on the computer.
  1. In BlackBerry Desktop Manager, open BlackBerry Media Manager.
  2. Use the Media Manager tool to transfer the audio or video file to the BlackBerry smartphone using a USB connection.
  3. Copy the files to the appropriate folder (either \blackberry\Music or \blackberry\Video) on the media card, or directly to the internal BlackBerry smartphone memory.
Note: Files larger than 3 MB cannot be transferred to internal BlackBerry smartphone memory.
2) Using the BlackBerry smartphone as a USB mass storage device:-
  1. On the BlackBerry smartphone, go to Options > Advanced Options > Media Card.
  2. Make sure that Mass Storage Mode Support is set to Enabled.
  3. Connect the BlackBerry smartphone to the computer and follow the prompts on the BlackBerry smartphone.
  4. Open the My Computer folder on the computer. The media card should appear there as a Removable Disk.
  5. Copy the files to the appropriate folder (either \blackberry\Music or \blackberry\Video) on the media card.
Using a media card reader
  1. Make sure that the media card reader is connected to the computer.
  2. Insert a media card into the media card reader.
  3. Open the My Computer folder on the computer. The media card should appear there as a Removable Disk.
  4. Copy the files to the appropriate folder (either \blackberry\Music or \blackberry\Video) on the media card.
  5. Insert the media card into the BlackBerry smartphone.
