Printer is out of warranty, was send by Epson to replace another printer, only printed about 50 page, now it will not power on. So far I cheched the cord, and tried another plug-in, both were good but to no avail. Can you help?

Luciro, Sounds like the power supply went bad. The power supply could be attatched to the power cord or may be in the back of the printer. It is usually removable. You may call your local computer service guy and see if they have spare parts. The bummer about it is getting the new power supply could run close to the price of a new printer. Tim

I have a epson xp212 printer and the wifi light flashes green and orange, the power button flashes green and the paper and ink flash orange? what is wrong with my printer?

The trouble-shooting section, page 117, of the manual says that this is an unknown error. Turn off the printer; it's best to unplug it. Then check for a paper jam anywhere in the printer. Sometimes, the error results from an issue with a print cartridge. (Try replacing them.) Other times, the paper sensor has shifted out of position. (This can happen when you try to clear a paper jam and pull in the wrong direction.) It's a pain to replace the sensor. Use a flashlight to look into the slot where the paper feeds in. Check for anything out of place. If you try to reposition the sensor, take careful notes/pictures at each step for where everything besides the sensor fit originally. Put things back where they were for all the other parts.

If the error persists when you turn it back on, then the machine needs factory service or replacement. If it is under warranty, contact Epson. The documentation is available here: https://www.epson.co.uk/support?productID=12298#manuals . The current link to the manual is https://download.epson-europe.com/pub/download/3768/epson376828eu.pdf . If the printer is out of warranty, it's cheaper to replace it than to send it for maintenance.

I hope this helps.

Printing in magneta only

that means colors jammed, you need to do self cleaning few times, the manual will tell you how to do that. if still not working, send it to your local Epson service center or buy a new printer
Small tips for inkjet printer, power on and print couple pages every few days, your printer will last much more longer.

Replaced ink, nothing prints not even tests

there are two main areas of concern: A waste sponge2c905eb.jpg located just under the printhead, and which helps to park the printhead when you turn the power off, and the actual printhead itself. There are also two ribbon connectors that attach to the printhead assembly--and if one of them is not fully plugged in the exact symptoms you describe will occure.

To reach the waste sponge require the dis assembly of the upper half of the printer. I can knock it out is about 5 minutes now! I have used about 50 Q tips to soak up the ink, and manually clan the long rectangular sponge as well.

It you want I can send you pictures of my printer all torn down.

Printer stopped working ;printer error

Sounds like you have a faulty printer. I use both Safari and Firefox without any problems [Epson CX9400Fax]. Call Epson and if your still under warranty they'll send you another one or pay for a repair. Do not pay the repair yourself as you can buy a printer with a 1 year warranty from Epson from their Clearance Center. BTW, I've been telling everyone to buy a CISS system as it saves tons of money on ink. http://www.inkproducts.com/ink-store/

Epson printing not printing

If you have already tried 3 consecutive head cleanings and nozzle check from the computer, tried reseating the inks and tried replacing the ink and it still acts like its printing but just provides a blank page chance are your printer already has hardware issue. The ink delivery system is already clogged. If your printer is still within the 1-year warranty period I suggest that you call Epson Tech support for more options otherwise, you would need to get the product repaired by an Epson certified service center. Epson Stylus CX5400 prints blank pages

I've had this happen twice with the CX5400. I've fixed it both times by following the instructions on this page: http://inkjetprinterhelp.us/duraink.html (This involves dissassembling your printer so it's not for the faint of heart!)
