Carefully is the main thing.

Most have to be correctly laid face down on a padded surface to remove the cover--any downward force or pressure on the front screen and set can be instantly destroyed.

You want it so when face down entire frame around the screen is supported with NO weight on the actual glass of the screen.

In this position it is usually just removal of screws--a base if mounted also usually has to come off the set to get the back off.

What is issue in set that makes you want to open it, what are you wanting to do?

How to remove stand from Panasonic TX6LMD70A LCD TV

Didn't find this model on the web. I take it it's a LCD flat panel monitor/TV?

Usually the user's manual will have instructions of how to remove the stand.

Usually there are 4 to 6 bolts in the back of the set that you remove and the stand slides out.

Removing Insignia 37' TV from Stand

There are 7 screws on the back of the tv - should be a phillips, once you have taken all out pull the tv up. If you figure this out I would be willing to buy the stand off you. I removed mine since moving and thought I did not need and threw it away, now need a stand. Email me at [email protected] if you are interested.

Thanks

How to remove the stand from samsung LCD TV

Place the tv on its screen flat on a soft surface,
you need to remove all the screws, not just the stand one marked.
Lift the back panel and then you will be able to slide down the stand, when you have removed the back cover you will also see where how your wall mount will fit to the chassis.
Place all the screws back on the back lid.

LCD TV

There is more than two screws holding the back cover on. I think it is more like 4 to 6. After you have removed all the screws you will nee a flat screw driver to help pry the two halves apart. Be careful the front of the cover has little snaps that help hold the two together.
