Iana mini rewind crank not spinning when advancing film

If the film is advancing you do not have a problem. It may be that the rewind button does not actually spin when you advance the film, because if it did and you have something caught on it when you are trying to do so you could really mess things up. Really, the rewind crank may only visibly spin in one direction.

My 35mm film won't load. It keeps rewinding

Solution: Repair or replace auto-rewind system.
Cause: The built in auto-rewind system that supposed to work when film is finished but because it is faulty it receives wrong signal when film is lloaded. So the camera thinks the film is at the end of the roll.
Possible cost: $65-$75

I finished taking pictures but it didnt rewind. did i load the film wrong? or did the batteries die? or whats up

Have you tried taking just one more pic to see if that triggers the rewind? If that didn't work, most film cameras have a rewind button. Usually on the bottom of camera. If you still can't get your film to rewind, take camera to your nearest photo finisher. They should have a dark box; they can remove your film manually.

I can't get my film to rewind in my camera. Help!!!

  1. there s a small silver button on the bottom that releases the film so it can be rewound
  2. the rewind crank is on the left side on top, a little are flips out to allow you to crank it. Turn in direction of the arrow until you feel the tension release.
If you already did this and you feel hat there is still film in the camera the next question is
  1. did you load the film correctly - if not the film did not advance and thus no tension when you rewound the film
  2. is the film broken off inside the camera - too much pressure when rewinding the film without releases the clutch (little silver button)

How to load new film

push the rewind button on the bottom of the camera, then turn the rewind knob to the right to rewind any film that may be in the camera. Lift the rewind knob up to open the back door. remove the film canister if there.
on the new film canister pull enough film to reach the take up spool. attach the leader to the spool and close the back door, advance the film to counter number 1. enjoy.

I dont know how to load my Nikon 35mm camera. I need instructions

Pull up the film rewind knob to open the back.

Drop the cartridge into the well on the left and, while rotating the rewind knob, push it back down to secure the cartridge.

Pull the leader across and insert it into any of the slots in the takeup spool.

Make sure the film perforations engage the sprocket teeth.

Alternately wind the film lever and press the shutter button until the perforations on both edges of the film engage the sprocket teeth.

Close the camera back, making sure it latches.

Take up the film slack by rotating the rewind knob in the direction of the arrow until you feel resistance.

Make blank exposures until the counter shows "1".

There's a fuller, illustrated set of instructions in the manual, which you can download from http://www.butkus.org/chinon/nikon.htm

N75 will not load film

Quick solution: force a manual rewind.
1. Remove film
2. Close camera back.
3. With the power turned on, press the two rewind buttons together. They are marked in red.
4. The camera will make a rewind sound and will stop after about 2 seconds.
5. DO NOT fire the shutter yet.
6. Put the mode on Manual and select a fast shutter speed like 1/90 sec. Any aperture will do.
7. Load the film correctly as given in the user's manual.
8. As you close the camera back, the film will prewind to the end of roll. At the end of the roll pre-wind the LCD will show you the total number of frames available.
9. Select any shooting mode.
10. Go on and take pictures.

Hope this helps
