I downloaded and printed a Filter Queen Owners Manual from the Filter Queen.Com website. It was hard to locate on their website, but I printed it free.

We were told we can add water to the canister instead of using a paper filter. Is there a manual that shows the operation of the Majestic Filter Queen 95x?

This is a DRY vacuum only. Do not put any type of water in your vacuum unless you are cleaning the dirt container only.

Adding water to this machine will cause it to **** the water straight up through the motor and well, water and electricity do not mix.

I got a used filter queen majestic vacuum at a yard sale and want to fix it up and start with new filters where do i get the filters and how do i change them

Hello,

Well you bought a really great vacuum cleaner. The Filter Queen's are extremely durable and very well made vacuums. They sell brand new for over $2500, so picking one up at a yard sale was a great find by you.

There are several different filters on this model that need to be replaced. Here's a link to a 6 month supply kit that we sell, which contains all the filters needed for a 6 month period:

The only other part that you should be replaced on a regular basis is the belt (only if the vacuum has a motorized power nozzle for cleaning carpets). The belt should be changed every 6 months or so. Even if it doesn't break, these belts will stretch out and not work as well as a new belt would. Here's a link to the belt that will fit your Filter Queen Majestic:

Here's a link to the owner’s manual for a newer Majestic model. This is the only one that is available online. Even though it's a newer model, the maintenance and care will be exactly the same for your model.

I really hope this was the information that you needed. If you have any follow up questions, please don't hesitate to ask them by using the comment box here on the Fixya repair page.

If this did help you, please be so kind and rate my repair helpful, or leave some feedback for me. This is greatly appreciated.

I'm lookinf for a owners manual for a 70th anniversary Filter Queen Majestic canister vaccuum. My sister in laws mother died and I bought it from her but she can find the manual.

Hi There,

Here's a link to the owners manual for your Filter Queen Majestic:

This may be a little newer model, however this instructions and use of this machine will be identical to the one that you have. They really have changed anything on their machines other then the looks of them for a decades.

Hope this helped! Please be sure to rate my repair helpful, or leave feedback if this answered your questions.

It will work again if you press the reset button which is the little (really little) button right on the back of the part that suctions.
