Ur tv are to much zooming in mode.Look on the remote control for a button that said like VIEW MODE,ZOOMING,PICTURE SIZES.Press one of these buttons to changes ur tv picture sizes.
What do you mean by distorted? The TV can be adjusted using the remote and entering the service mode. Can you send a picture of the distortion that is being displayed?
The T.V. has a problem on the convergence panel Bd. Check each of the resistors near each regulator transistor. You can send the panel to P.T.S. Electronics in Indiana for repair. Call 1-800-844-7871 and they can repair it for you.
Our 37 inch Sanyo LCD HDTV has a problem with the picture distorted by being too wide. This has beenia problem for the duration since we bought the TV about three months ago. Sorry Bud you cant. An original remotes available at http://www.remotes.com or 1800-remotes for about $61.00 + shipping. Without seeing a picture Im not even sure if thst will help ya man. If you wanna try to see if an alighnment will help then get the remote. I would advise you against doing any sort of technical alighnments as this set has high voltage around inside even afterv its been disconnected for a while. Good Luck
