One side track runs, the other remains stationary

The Aquabot T4 RC starts working fine, then the left track seems to stop and the right track continues to run, so the Aquabot just turns in a tight circle. What could cause that to happen and how do you fix it?

SOURCE: Aquabot Bravo runs great in one direction but not the other

Thank you for posting your question here on Fixya.com.

Either the belt responsible for that direction or the idler pulley and/or wheel teeth are damaged. The only other possibility would be the drive motor itself is near failure. Try running it briefly upside-down on the deck to inspect the drive components in action to determine which is the problem.

SOURCE: Aquabot T4 RC, Pump runs for 1 second then shuts

Mine does this too some times. I find that if i manually force the wheels (out of water) to turn slightly and then put it back in the water it works again for a bit. I think something is jamming it but can not find out what the issue is. Let me know if you solve it!

Is this water driven? If so, lower the pressure or see if the discharge is adhustable. :-)

New feed belt will not track evenly. Belt is loose on left side & tight on right, but if I tighten the left side to pull it flat, it tracks off to the right immediately. I tried reversing the belt in...

Could be the belt, sometimes they get glued together wrong and they don't track, or its the tension wheel/ track wheel.

It looks like one of the stationary rollers might have a small adjustment
that you can do, hard to tell looking at the diagram,

but if you can adjust this tighter on the right side it should track the belt back to the left, so check and see if any of the rollers or holder of the rollers can be loosened and moved a hair to get the track to the left so the adjust track can make it track straight.

If you still have the old belt, put it on, if it works then there is a problem with the new one and it is not the machine.

Aquabot Turbo T won't climb

1.`. Replace your old, water logged floats. They will dry out when the unit is out of the pool, and the unit will work fine until they water log again, which may takes as few as 10 minutes in the pool. 2. Stop using all those words *********** didn't teach you and probably didn't even know...This is a common problem. http://www.i-love-my-aquabot-automatic-pool-cleaner.com/ gives some really good insight, too! Aquabot T2 moving in circle

The T2 has one set of belts and a single drive motor. Since one side must be rotating to be moving in a circle, we can then assume that the motor and belts are not the issue here. The two halves of the brushes are connected by a mechanism that allows them to turn independently of the other half. They can rotate about 3 times before they “lock” and act as it were one (not split) brush. This “slippage” is how the cleaner turns. Make sure that they do lock by manually rotating one side. If not, you will need new brush/wheel tubes.
