Can't reprogram the remote controls.

By mistake I erased the codes. Now I'm following the instructions to reprogram the controls, but it doesn't work. My model is 139.53985DM

  • Anonymous May 11, 2010

What's happening when you try reprogramming? When you press the "learn" button on the opener, does the indicator come on like it's supposed to? If so, all you should need to do is press the large button on the remote, or enter a new code for the remote keypad.

Ok/select doesn't work with magnavox dvd player

Hi, make sure you Comcast remote is in the "DVD" mode before attempting to work the DVD features. If it is still not working. You need to reprogram your Comcast remote to a different Magnavox DVD code because the code it is currently set for not fully compatible. If you need the instructions to reprogram your Comcast remote go here. If you would like to purchase a new Magnavox DVD player remote you can also search on Replacement Remotes for your DVD player's model number located on the back of the unit. If they have it, it will show for purchase.
