Before you replace the power board, there are a few things you can try to troubleshoot the issue with your Westinghouse WD55UW4620 TV:
Adjust the picture settings: It's possible that the picture settings on your TV have been accidentally adjusted, resulting in a dark picture. Try going into the TV's menu and adjusting the brightness, contrast, and other picture settings to see if that helps.
Check the backlight: The backlight is responsible for illuminating the pixels on your TV screen, and if it's not working properly, it can result in a dark or dim picture. You can check the backlight by shining a flashlight on the screen and seeing if you can make out any images. If you can see images, then the backlight is likely the issue.
Check the cables: Make sure that all the cables connecting your TV to external devices are securely plugged in and not damaged.
If none of these troubleshooting steps work, then it's possible that the power board is the issue. In that case, replacing the power board may fix the problem.
If you are going for the best and easiest than I would choose HDMI. Next, which would be just as good, would be the component (red green blue). The next step down, if available, is the S video. You most likely do not have that as an option. Next would be composite which is the yellow input and finally would be straight coax into the set. Coax, if it is digital coax, would give you a nice picture as well.
Hi: You may have a problem with the inverters in the unit, they are responsible for lighting up the back panel. Check or have checked the power supply voltage to the inverters, should be around 18-24 volts DC. Also leaky capacitors on the power supply will cause this issue as well as leaky or puffy capacitors on the inverter.
If the screen went dark blue, this is the way that sets mute the video to protect the tube. However If the screen is very bright blue with possibly blue lines going through the screen, either the blue gun in the CRT has failed which is unusual but can happen or the driver transistor/IC which drives the blue gun has gone short circuit. If you know how to use a meter, you can perform a comparison check by comparing say the red O/P TX with the blue O/P TX. Ian
Normal color picture is composed with 3 colors R-G-B (Red-Green-Blue). Picture turns Red means: Missing Green and Blue colors (many reasons: bad contacts, projector tubes dead, and other...). Try to give some "tabs" to diagnose ... I don't know what is the type of your Projection TV, how long you owned it, to have more idea.

Wrong, abnormal or missing colors
・ If any colors (red, green or blue) are missing, check the video cable to make sure it is securely connected. Loose or broken pins in the cable connector could cause an improper connection. ・ Press and select Picture | Settings to adjust the Hue and Saturation settings. You can also select Picture | Advanced to adjust the Color Temperature settings. ・Connect the TV to another computer and check if the problem is with the computer screen.
Other than that there is no mention of color adjustment
