The KX-TGA600 isn't an answering machine. If you have a separate answering machine connected to your phone line, please consult its documentation. If you're subscribed to a voicemail system provided by your telephone company, please contact your telephone company for instructions on accessing their voicemail system.

How do i retreive messages remotely from my uniden dect 6.0phone

Generally, all you have to do to remotely get your messages is call your phone and enter a code when it answers. "DECT 6.0" is the generic term for the cordless phone technology, and not a particular model number, so I can't give you a link to the manual for your specific phone. But here is Uniden's page where you can download manuals. Pick your model from the list and it will tell you the default access code and how to change it, as well as other codes to control skipping messages, deleting them and so on.

Do not know how to retreive messages from another phone and is the code two or three digits?

It's three digits. You can read the full details in the "Remote Access" section of the manual (page 18 in my copy). If you need a manual, you can download one at

HOW TO RETREIVE MY MESSAGE FROM ANOTHER PHONE?

Most answering machines have a 'remote code' to access messages via remote. (from another phone line when you aren't at home.) Look for the manual or look on the bottom of the unit itself.

If you do not see a code for it. Or have the manual, find your model online and the manufacturer should have the user manual online for free. It should provide the code for remote access.

Typically, you call the phone, when the answering machine picks up, you would dial the security code and the answering machine will then start playing your messages.

Hope this helps. Good luck!

Retreiving Messages

here's what my instruction booklet says:

Changing the Security Code

The default security code for accessing the answering system from another location is 1 2 3. You must use the handset to change the security code. With the phone OFF (not in TALK mode), follow these steps:

1. Press the FLASH/answerer/Call wait button to display ANSWERER REMOTE.
2. Press the *EXIT/TONE button.
3. Enter the new 3-digit security code.
4. Press the *EXIT/TONE button again. The unit announces the new code, pauses, beeps, and then announces the menu options again.

hope that helps

Reset or retreive code

I presume you mean that you have forgotten the unlock code for your V3. If this is so then when it asks for the unlock code press menu ( - ) and it will ask you for your security code, the default is 000000 so if you haven't changed that then you should now be able to access your phone.

If i am 'barking up the wrong tree' then please explain more of the situation and I will try and help again
