I want to download a user guide / manual for Cyberlink PowerDVD

I have Cyberlink PowerDVD v 7.3 and am having a hard time figuring out how to use it.

    I too would like some manuals or something! No instructions on how any of those advertised special effects are achieved. Of course some we can figure out, and I sure hope Geoff wants to do more than play, stop, and forward. Why else would one spend over $100 when those functions are easily gotten for much less.

lots of manuals to download here, although I can't see why you need a manual for play stop and forward and back chapters, unless you want to do more stuff.
You may need adobe acrobat reader to view the manual, another free download from http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep2.html?promoid=BUIGO

First read carefully how to use the key gen ..it is explained on the download page ...you have to generate the keys before running the program first time ..and insert them in the installation directory ..anyway I believe the indications are present in a read me doc.

Unable to install a new powerdvd version
I imagine that it's trying to uninstall the older version to install the newer one, which it can't. NOTE: This is a desperate step. Delete the Cyberlink folder in C:\Program Files\; Go to Add/Remove Programs and attempt uninstall - it will say it can't uninstall, and ask you if oyu want to remove it from the program list. Click yes. Go to start->Search (or Find) and search for Cyberlink (make sure that Hidden and System files are being searched). Delete all Cyberlink files. Do the same, but with PowerDVD. Download and run CCleaner. Attempt to reinstall PowerDVD.
