My Nokia 3230 wont continue to start despite new battery

You can send or receive multimedia message with activate MMS setting in your phone first. The setting depends on SIM card provider, so ask your provider to activate your MMS setting, or you can set it manually by search in Google MMS setting for your SIM card.

Try this, it might work for you. First remove any extra memory card and sim card inside your phone. After doing that, turn on your phone without those things. If there is message "Please insert sim card" then your good to go. Put your sim card back to your phone and then turn it on again. If it is successfully start then next thing to do is to insert the memory card back to your phone and then start up your phone again. But if in this stage your phone failed to start, then the memory card it causing the problem.
If all fails, then you need to format or hard reset your phone. Hold the * + 3 + green call key and then start up your phone while holding those buttons until you see a screen that shows formatting. Make sure you have enough battery power to do this procedure. You can plug the phone charger to make sure that everything will be okay.

power off the phone take out your sim take out your mmc, then put battery back place on top of a flat surface for stabilty, then press (*) + (3) + (send or green key) together with power button, dont release until the word formatting... pops out.. and a black moving bar start progressing.. then release keys.. wait for the formatting be done and says insert sim card...
and your done..

there are many security codes...this one might be puk code...for that you will have to contact ur service provider...

Hi Friend,
Initially u have remove the sim card and the battery.
Once u have removed insert only the battery and put to charge for 10 to 15 mins.
then remove the mobile from charger and insert the sim card.
Now after 30 sec switch it on.U will be able to do the process
