When i try and play runescape on my mac laptop, (running safari), it shows a cup (with java in it :P) with arrows around it. macs are supposed to come with java pre-installed, right???? help me out, i want 2 play runescape!!!!!!!!!

I had the same problem. The easiest solution is to download and install firefox. Just go to www.firefoxcom and it will be right there for you. I prefer Firefox to Safari on the Mac.
Usually, before starting up the game, when starting Java, there will be a notification asking if you trust the java applet. You must click Trust for Runescape to work.
If this does not help. Reinstall java from Apple downloads.

Do you have use Java and Javascript checked in Safari Prefrences? If you do, then I recommend Firefox. It's better anyways.

yah it was very much helpful, :D:D:D but my silly computer still won't load runescape...i am still getting a cup with arrows around it. Thank you very much though!
when i load up runescape it has a 2 screens 1 screen white and 1 screen that is small and i cant use the mouse pad to click log in
