Go into the control panel and select add and remove and look for the Toshiba Power saver utility and click remove. If you are running windows 7 go to my computer and select uninstall at top.

SOURCE: toshiba tecra m1 sound driver

Check to see if the sound drive installed properly from the device manager. Try uninstalling the driver and doing a hardware search. Then check the sound settings to make sure nothing is muted or turned down. Some driver need manual adjusting.

Can power saver be turned off ?

Yes, you can turn off the power saver feature on your display. The steps to do so may vary depending on the brand and model of your display. Here are some general steps to disable power saver on a monitor:
  1. Right-click on the desktop and select "Display settings".
  2. In the Display settings, click on "Advanced display settings".
  3. Click on the "Monitor" tab and look for a "Turn off display after" or "Power saver" setting.
  4. Change the setting to "Never" or disable it completely.
If you are using a KVM switch, it may also have a power-saving feature that is causing the display to power off. You may need to check the manual or the manufacturer's website for information on how to disable the power-saving feature on the KVM switch.
If you are using the Microsoft Win 10 "project" feature, you can adjust the display settings by following these steps:
  1. Right-click on the desktop and select "Display settings".
  2. In the Display settings, click on "Project to this PC".
  3. Look for a "Turn off display after" or "Power saver" setting and change it to "Never" or disable it completely.
These steps should help you disable the power saver feature on your display and prevent it from turning off. If you are still having trouble, please provide more details about the brand and model of your display and KVM switch, and I'll do my best to help you further.

Hi! I am sure my Tecra A9 has been infected with a keylogger and I intend to format it. But the problem is I seem to have lost the recovery CD and would like to buy a new one. Could you please refer me to...

Unfortunately there is no recovery CD as described as the CD is made on the laptop.
You can use a copy of the OS that is licenced to your laptop as you have the code under the machine.

The brightness is automatically controlled by a "Brightness Sensor" However, you can compensate the brightness by using the Toshiba Brightness Sensor Control. In order to use this utility, you must set the Brightness Sensor in Toshiba Power Saver to "ON"

I can not run my toshiba power saver nither can i change my power settings manualy. I cannot find where the tishiba power saver option is iv already checked control pannel.and one mor thing, the infra red...

the infra red i dont know anything about, sorry. the power settings, most of the time are in control pannel .
if you haven't already solved your problem, try going thru
'control pannel', then ' performance & maintenance',
then 'power options'. anyway, thats where mine are located so maybe you'll get lucky and solve one issue. good luck!

Toshiba tecra M10 (wireless)

Before you rolled back to XP you should have burned a cd with the XP drivers. If you didn't you still can but make sure that you have the chipset utility executable. That comes first as it is what enables your motherboard onboard functions.
