Trying to text on my smartphone, every letter I push makes a string of letters that dont make sense. some letters delete the whole message! backspace adds words! what is happening?!

I downloaded the SWift keyboard software and it works exceptionally well for me. Backspace and delete are clearly marked.

There's a backspace key. That should allow you to delete text.

I have a logitech wifi keyboard and in some instances including your problem , if I press the insert key, it behaves itself for a while

of course your backspace button only deletes one letter unless you press the backspace button for a long time and it still deletes one letter. There is something wrong with your keyboard.

With mine you just use the back arrow around the center button to get to your mistake and hit clear to erase the letter.

Backspace problem could be a dirty contact, in which case, just take it apart, and clean the whole contact board with electric spray cleaner. Could also be the same software problem with the consecutive letters. Looks like the keyboard driver got corrupted. Reinstall keyboard software / driver

One way to do it is to type a series of letters (they don't have to make any sense at all.

Next, highlight the entire series of letters, right click and choose hyperlink. In the box that comes up, type the text you want displayed on the mouse-over and hot OK.

Next, highlight the entire string of text again and change the color of the font to white. The entire string ox characters will disappear, yet everytime you mouse-over, the text you want displayed will be seen in a small popup box.

on your cell phone there is one key named as c just press it and you will delete backspace with it.......

make sure you dont have very many programs running by pushing the button in the top right corner of the screen...if there are several progs running, close the ones out you don't need and try it then...

hit # to toggle through the different modes... however, if you get used to using the 'autosuggest', it'll make things faster, and as you use it, it'll start to learn what words you use more often. just hit the key for whatever letter you want, and then you can cycle through suggestions, probably with up and down on the dpad, or take the suggested word with right.  you don't hit multiple buttons to get the letter you want, you let it guess for you.  so, to get 'hello', you press 43556, instead of 4433555555666.
