Phone malfunction i recently dropped my razr, when i woke up this morning, it wouldn't turn on. it still wont turn on and the lcd screen wont light up, when i press the power button, the keypad lights up but the lcd screen doesn't do anything. when i connect the phone to my computer and try to turn it on, my computer displays that the device malfunctioned. i dont care about the phone anymore, i would just like a way to turn it on so i may retrieve my contact list and my calendar. any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks.

It might sound absurd but the frantic truth is that the LCD screen of your phone is bad which might be as a result of previous shocks and abrasions which it has been subjected to.This is a common feature of the 9700 bold.
The only solution is to replace the LCD screen of your phone,it cots between 40-79 dollars .
i know the water sticker is still white because you didnt get the actual sticker wet... in order to get the sticker to turn red... the sticker has to be wet...!
take the phone to a professional mobile service center and have them fully service the phone and replace any damage parts to have the phone up and running correctly
Well i suggest that you take the case of your phone and have a look at your screen maybe some of the screws have gone missing or the screen has just worn itself out? . Note youll need a t6 or t7 torx screwdriver to do this , hope i helped
you need to reset your phone. go to settings and look for the master reset. it will ask you a pin code to enter. after reset, the phone will restart if not just turn-off your phone and turn it on again. all will go back to factory settings.
