I recently bought a used LCT2060 that had no remote. I figured my
comcast cable remote would work without a problem but it didn't. So 3
universal remotes later I found my solution...a radio shack
universal gamer remote. It controls up to 5 components plus your
xbox360, playstation and pc. The price on sale was a mere 12.97, not bad
if you ask me. Hope this helped. The code that worked for the Akai
was 11676. Take care...
I don't believe that brand of TV is still in business. Here's there web site: http://www.akaiusa.com/
Nobody seems to be selling that remote. But, only one place may help. http://www.remotes.com/store/akai/lct2060.html They sell a substitute remote. Sadly, it's somewhat expensive. It maybe cheaper to try a universal remote. Sorry I couldn't be more help.
I have both for sale.. I have the whole tv that turns on , gets a picture for 2 seconds then turns off. I was told it needs an invertor but I dont want to bother fixing it.. Will sell you the whole TV with power supply, remote and TV for $100.
