Amana Side-by-Side Fridge Model SBD21VPSE Problem started when water stopped flowing from in-door dispenser and ice maker stopped making ice. I emptied fridge and freezer, left unit off for several hours. Water now flows from in-door dispenser, but ice maker appears dead.

    Ice maker in Model SBD21VPSE will not dump ice, I am unable to locate reset button. The ice fingers are posed just above the tray but do not cycle. The water in the door seems to be flowing properly, and the auger to move the ice through the door is working fine.

    after a power cut the ice maker on my Viking fridge freezer has stopped working - there seems to be no power to the unit

If there is a reset button on your ice maker try pushing it. Many ice makers have two holes for reset. A general rule of thumb is if the ice maker fingers are stopped in a slightly vertical position then your ice maker unit is working. If the fingers are stopped anywhere else then it needs some sort of attention or replaced. Make sure there is water, or ice in the ice maker tray, if not then the problem is with water supply.

We have a Hotpoint side by side fridge. It always makes
check the door in the dispenser if moisture is condensing and freezing so that the door won't open try manually popping the door open just before you attempt to dispense ice, maybe you'll get lucky, otherwise your going to have to get a technician to come and check the micro-switch for the dispenser

ICE MAKER NOT GET WATER
Pour about 1/2 cup of water into ice maker . If it dumps , replace the water valve . If doesn't dump , replace the ice maker . Also make sure the coils are clean of dust , lint , etc...the temperature(it needs to be 0-4 degree F for the ice maker to start) may be defrost problem send me a note if you need info on that

Stopped making ice
First of all is the water flowing into the ice-maker? Check the solenoid valve which regulates this water flow to the dispenser & ice maker. If water is flowing in, the ice-maker's thermostat may have malfunctioned, since this thermostat is separate from that inside the fridge...........sodeep

Water dispenser not working
I have a Hitachi R-M800GM.

When i operate the water dispenser, water flows out from the dispenser [not strong flow]. There is also water flowing out at the bottom of the freezer door [hinge area]

I think the line running inside the freezer door may have come loose? If so, how to reattach it? Do u have any layout drawings of how the hose is being connected.

Please help.
