You could go as high in memory as you can find. You need to stay with the AGP bus though. Newegg has a good bunch of 512 mb AGP cards some even have DDR3 and that caught my attention. They'll set you back between 50 to 100 bucks for the realy good ones.

I need vga driver of p4m800 pro-m7

Hello the homepage is here:

http://www.biostar.com.tw/app/en/mb/introduction.php?S_ID=94#dl

But the driver for win 7 is not there.
It will not help to download the xp driver
My advise is to buy a graphic card that supports win 7
The mainboard have an AGP 8X Slot for extenal graphic card

If you are in doubt adding a graphic card
let a expert do it for you.

Good luck

My p4vmm2 rev.8.1 has only 256mb memory card and 128mb video card, my question is what would be the maximum bytes for memory card and video card can i install. Offcourse the compatible hardware..tnx

Looks like the max is 2 x 184-pin DDR DIMM socket support up to 1 GB, which means you can get 2 512MB DDR266/200 2.5V DDR SDRAM chips.

as far as video cards, it will accept any AGP 4x or lower card. You could also put a PCI video card in it, but AGP is better.

No Video. The monitor is OK. The integrated vga controller must have died. Can I install an external pci vga controller? Do I have to change any jumpers on the motherboard to do this?

u probably hv Integrated Intel 865G chipset on ur board..if u r using so, u can upgrade using any 'dedicated' 1 x AGP 8X/4X Card..like:
Diamond Viper ATI X1950PRO AGP 512MB
Radeon 9200 128MB AGP8X
eVGA GeForce FX5200 128MB so on....

no there's no such jumpers to reset..

..contact ur system admin/vendor for details n preference...

Upgrade vga & processor for elite P4M800-M7

Hi kapitan, for starters the AGP is faster than a PCI. Yes, you can upgrade to 512MB. There is a direct path to the CPU when using an AGP video card.
Elite Group has 2 P4M800-M7's. One is version 1.0 & 3.1.
Though both boards are very similar they are different when it comes to CPU support.
When you view the main pages for you're Elite Group P4M800-M7. Look to the left for CPU Supported & click it. I'll list both boards along with their link to supported CPU list. You will need to find the version number (on the board) in order to pick the correct CPU supported per version number.
Link 1, Version Number 1.0
http://www.ecsusa.com/ECSWebSite/Products/ProductsDetail.aspx?detailid=531&CategoryID=1&DetailName=Specification&MenuID=7&LanID=9
CPU's supported. V1.0
http://www.ecsusa.com/ECSWebSite/Support/CPU_Support_Model.aspx?detailid=531&MenuID=69&LanID=9

Link 2, Version 3.1
http://www.ecsusa.com/ECSWebSite/Products/ProductsDetail.aspx?detailid=548&CategoryID=1&DetailName=Specification&MenuID=7&LanID=9
CPU's supported V3.1
http://www.ecsusa.com/ECSWebSite/Support/CPU_Support_Model.aspx?detailid=548&MenuID=69&LanID=9

Depending on the version number you can reach CPU of 3.8MHz.

Hope this was helpful.
Feel free to ask if you need more service.
Good Luck!

AGP video Board recommended for PC Chips M925 V7.3

FOR YOUR MOTHERBOARD , ITS BETTER TRY NVIDIA GEFORCE CARDS LIKE GEFORCE MX4000 , FX 5200 , 5500 , 6300 BUT DONT USE SLI CARDS , THEN ABOUT YOUR ASUS RADEON ITS ADVICED THAT ASUS RADEON 9200 WILL WORK BETTER WITH INTEL MOTHERBOARDS
