You may have a broken drive shaft. Some are braided and flexable and used on curved shaft units. The solid shaft is used on most straight shaft units. Remove the string head and pull the shaft out to look at the ends to see if they are broken or stripped. George

Can a Tacsew get fix if the motor lock up?

sounds like the spool case is jammed up
take the spool case out

check the drive belt is ok

in some you just need to remove the case
and tighten a screw on the drive sproket inside
you can find the plastic spleen holder on the drive wheel has stripped
or cracked so the motor will run and nothing moves

your post is too sparce on info
like does the motor run at all?????

usual problem is the motor runs no drive
because the drive belt is broken or a plastic is cracked

Trimmer line is spinning but slowly, like it has lost power.

Sounds like just what you said "it's lost power" Are you sure the battery is fully charged? Try another battery if you have one. There is no clutch to slip on this type trimmer. It's got to be either the battery is not putting out enough to turn the motor or the motor itself is bad.

My ryobi gas trimmer will not spin when running

sounds like the drive cable inside the shaft has disengaged from the motor or from the spool. possibly a broken drive cable.

NOTE to Classifiers: this is NOT a tiller or cultivator

Blower won't run

usually a "humming motor" indicates either a bad capacitor or a defective motor. With the power off try to spin the blower wheel...it should spin freely. If it is tight or wont spin and there are no obstructions stopping it (like an air filter sucked into blower or other debris) then the motor most likely is seized. If the blower wheel spins free then you may have a bad capacitor. Keep in mind, just because the blower spins easy doesn't mean the motor is good. I have had motors that are defective that dont seize up but most of the time the blower wheel will not spin free if the motor fails.

I just bought a BD Grass Hog and after 1 h of use,

If the noise was up by the handle it may have been the drive pulley breaking loose of the shaft on the motor causing the motor to spin and stop the flex shaft of the trimmer. Another possibility would be the small belt that aids the flex shaft. If those don't fix the problem check the lock nut that bolts the flex shaft to the spool housing. If the shaft broke free from the housing the motor would still run and the shaft would turn, but the spool housing would not spin if it does it could be stopped very easily. Definately check the warranty.

I have replaced the line spool with a new one and it will not run

hey mate, the best thing to do would be try eliminate sections if the head does not spin remove it see if the arbor that the head connects spins with the head removed, if it still does not spin remove remove your drive shaft and check if motor actually spins some of these contain sheer pins to prevent damage to the motor, I would highly reccomend this be done by a professional as there is moving parts and electric motor involved... hope this helps

No power

It sounds like you have something wrapped around the spool, (where the string is), that is keeping it from spinning.
If that's not the problem, then it is the carburetor. It will need to be cleaned or it will need a new carb. kit. How old is it?
Let me know if you need cleaning tips.
