My pc crashed and i bought a new one but i cant get the music from my 1st generation itouch out to then import it back into itunes with my new music
Step 1: Connect your iPod to computer. Wait a minute as the computer may need to install a driver for the iPod. You may see your iPod in the bottom right corner of menu bar.
Step 2: Navigate to Start > Settings > Control Panel on your computer. Double click on "Folder Options" and scroll down where you will see an option to enable hidden files and folder. Click it and click "Apply" to save the setting.
Step 3: Navigate to My computer > iPod > Music. Open up another folder in Windows where you want to save your exported music to. Copy and paste all your music from your iPod folder to the computer one.
Or you can simply use iTunes to sync all your purchased music from iPod to computer:
Step 1: Connect your iPod to computer and launch iTunes.
Step 2: Head to File > Devices > Transfer Purchases from "Your Device Name" to check out and transfer all of your music purchased from iTunes Store.
Step 3: Find transferred music in folder C:Users/Administrateor/Music/iTunes/iTunes Media.
