I can't send text messages with my htc ozone cell phone

Delete some messages from your storage memory and try to send messages, if it doesn't work factory reset your phone. It will work fine.

I had to got to message and select deleted messages and delete them. If you delete them they are still there until you clear them. I didn't know this.

You may downloaded such big file to your phone memory, causing your phone telling this info. I Suggest to re-route your download file to memory card. Also you move some additional programs / files from phone to memory card to make your phone has a better performance .

first do a back up all your files in your phone and make a reset or restore it into factory default and also reformat your external memory or your memory card, i can assure you your that your problem is solve......

go to settings and reset, all data will be erase be sure to back up important data before doing this.

for htc touch

Hold down send/reject buttons (green/red at the front) and reset with the stylus; release the stylus but keep holding the buttons till you get 'this will erase all your personal data' message, then press 'action' (big front button) to hard reset

Most phones have both internal memory and the sim card is a memory on its on. You might have the function to keep a copy of sms in sim as well. So you need to enter the sim memory and delete those SMS's

Basically either clear all your messages and then try. If it still says the same message then you will have to clear applications or mulitmedia from your phone to free some more space. I suggest you delete some applications as normally multimedia is stored on your sd card.

its because you dont have your default storage set to your memory card.. rite now u hav it set to store everything to ur phone.

First check the centre number of ur network or check whether u have deleted all the messages from the draft and sent items.this type of problem occurs when the phone memory is generally full.try changing the text storage to phone memory or try resetting the phone.backup everything in ur phone and do this:
*#7370# and the default password will be 12345.hope i helped u.

hello alexann, Your phone is out of ram memory. Symbian phones use the internal memory as rom memory (dinamically allocated) ram memory (for user programs) and firmware storage. If the internal memory is almost full the phone will begin to give you such errors because it can't load into ram the text aplication that is require to start in order to process sms messages. Please try to avoid to fill the internal memory and instead move anything from it to the memory card. A full internal memory can result in slow phone operation, errors, program crashes or even the failure to boot-up (start) the phone. Therefore, in your case you should try to free more internal memory (phone memory) and check the sms folder to see if you can send messages. If this doesn't solve, you may have a virus or a bad program installation that corrupted symbian OS's registry. This will require to hard reset the phone.
