Hi

Try to reset the unit by disconnecting the power supply for 10sec. and operate the unit. If it wont work replace your Room Air and Coil Thersmistor or test the thersmistor with mulitester. The resistance reading of thermistor is 10 kilo ohms @25deg. C room temp. If it is shorted or open the unit wont operate.

I got the same problem in Samsung aircon. The unit I purchsed died slowly. After that Samsung replaced it with the one have the same problem. They are swearing that the green light blinking problem as a normal function and refusing to fix. Their user manual says it is a problem. I think the affected consumers should join hands to take legal action against this scam.

your main board more so the pipe sensor connected to it, is defective. if the pipe senor can be changed it will work but in most cases the whole main-board will have to be changed as well.

Sounds like a 48 code. (There is no 84 to my knowledge).
Outdoor unit coil outlet (liquid line) thermistor has disconnected or has shorted out.

call a LICENSED hvac repairman

Hi I have LG split aircon system of 3. the problem is the evaporator will run for a few sec and then power light will blink alternately with the sleep light and then it will shut off but still blinking...

check the thermistor located or attached to the pcb board replug it or replace. or try to adjust on your sleep timer or shut off the main breaker to reset the unit observe operation.

the timer may have been activated at installation or by someone not fully conversant with the operation

use the remote and follow the instructions in the owners manual to turn the timer off
