Look for obstruction at the drain tray for the freezer. Common to have plastic wrap sucked into that area.Or gunk in the drain line. Blow through line to insure the gunk is not an issue.

SOURCE: I have a whirlpool sided by side refrigerator

Remove the food and the shelves , and the crisper , blocking removal of the inside rear freezer panel . Remove the 4 screws holding the panel and remove the rear freezer panel . Using a hair dryer , start in the middle , below the coils , defrosting , until you see the drain hole . Use hot water to help defrost the hole . Once water starts going thru the hole , use a small hose inserted into the hole , and blow thru , to remove any unseen debris in the drain line . Use an aluminum solid wire ( fence post tie , ground wire , etc ), 14-16 guage , with the insulation completely off , and insert one end into the drain hole as far as possible without any force . Wrap the other end about 1 1/2 to 2 turns , around the black rod (defrost heater) , above the hole . When refrig goes into defrost , the heat will transfer from the heater , to the wire , keeping the hole from freezing up again .

SOURCE: water leaking from freezer into refrigerator

This is most likely due to the defrost drain being restricted, here is a link to help explain how to correct the problem. Let me know if this helps. Thanks.

Ice Maker leaks water inside the freezer

I see you said you looked and the water valve is off but the only that I know of this happening is a defective water control valve. Like a dripping faucet that when off slowly drips until the ice forms and then one the ice maker dumps ice and tries to refill the water goes in every direction. Unplug water valve to confirm what I am saying, Tell me if it continues to leak. Sea Breeze

Water setteling on bottom of freezer side and freezing also leaking. 2 fridges both doing the same thing . leaking on the inside and freezing and underneath water is leaking.

Clean out the defrost drain. There is a drain in the freezer that lets all the defrost water run under the fridge. If that gets clogged then all the water runs into the freezer and can even leak onto the floor

Water pools at bottom of freezer, freezes and water leaks out

Hello, this sounds like you have a blockage in the drain tube, remove bottom shelf from fridge and remove the styrofoam..you may see ice build up...melt ice with hair dryer/heat gun...you will see a pan below evaporator...melt ice in pan...dry water up in pan with paper towel...now you should see a hole in pan that leads to drain tube...pour some hot water in pan..wait a couple minutes..mop up water and repeat this step 2-3 times....once you have done this find some flexible curatain wire or electrical wire..poke down the hole until you see the water drain..now it is clear..put back panel back and you are good to go. The reason you see water in the Freezer is because the water has been leaking into the freezer instead of running into the drain hole...Please feel free to comment again if you need any further assistance. My freezer has water that leaks into the bottom and freezes but water also leaks out onto the floor

Inside the freezer at the bottom in the back there's a drain hole that must be clogged and the water from every defrost cycle freezes up and make it worse , so first pour hot water into the drain to melt the ice and keep pouring until it goes through .Keep the drain clean doing this every 3 or 4 months.

Samsung Fridge Freezer leaking water

hi August.
Cause: A blocked defrost drain is one of the most common causes of water leakage. This happens when food particles or other debris clogs up the drain hose, which can lead to ice buildup and, eventually, water leaking out of the freezer and refrigerator.
3 common refrigerator problems you can easily fix yourself

The freezer drain hose will drain the defrost water into a drip pan at the bottom of the freezer. When this pan becomes full, it will leak water onto the floor. This is a regular maintenance task whenever the freezer defrosts. Empty the drip pan during the defrost cycle.
How to Fix Water Leaking From the Bottom of Freezer

Why is my fridge leaking water on the floor? If the refrigerator is leaking water it's possible that the refrigerator has a clogged or freezing defrost drain. If the defrost drain freezes the defrost water will overflow the drain and drip down to the bottom of the compartment, If enough water accumulates in the bottom it can run out onto the floor.

Admiral HMG 62163 water leaking internally & freezing in lower basket

good attempt, its actually a clogged drain thats backing up and your drain water is not able to leave refrig so it falls to bottom of freezer floor and eventually out the door. romve the items from the freezer and take the lower back wall off form inside, directly under the evaporator under all that ice there is a drain hole, youll need to clear that hole of iec( pouring boiling water down until you get a free flow of water then you can reassemble uint problem solved
