Call Audiovox support. After waiting an hour I was told the unit (pnp2) was faulty and I was to call customer service to arrange a replacement. Mine is on the way to NY.

My sportster 5 satellite radio is not getting signal

Is it "Aquiring Signal" or "Antenna Not Detected"? It could be the antenna, the dock, or the radio itself. For whatever reason, the Sportster 5 seems more fragile in the dock connections. TSS Radio has a repair guy who can fix this issue. You can reach him via email at [email protected]

Keeps coming up no antenna detected...changed antenna ...same problem

Sounds like it could be the dock itself, but could also be the radio. Do you have other docking stations to test it out in? If it works in one dock but not the other, we know its the dock that needs to be replaced. If it does the same thing in both docks it is probably the antenna connection in the receiver.

It tells me there is no antenna not detected

Antenna not detected could be caused by one of three things: The antenna, the docking station, or the receiver. If you have other equipment to troubleshoot, you can narrow down what is causing your issue and replace it. tss-radio.com is a good source for parts and trouble shooting ;)

My sirius portable radio keeps displaying "no antenna detected" but it's plugged in.

Several possiblities: one: antenna really is bad - borrow a friends Sirius or XM antenna and plug it into the base and see if the message goes away -if it does, replace antenna; if not, then your 'dock' or base could be bad - try removing and reinstalling the radio or try another base. If another base and antenna don't solve it, then the radio is shot and it's time for a new one. Customer service will ususally give you a great deal on a new XM radio IF you agree to keep it for 1 year. Let me know how it goes.

SL 10 Antenna not detected

I've had this same thing happen to mine frequently - all I do to solve the problem is to remove the battery for about 20 seconds and then reconnect and power it back on. Always works fine after that (knocking on wood)! Hope this helps!

Antenna not detected

Try docking the unit without the battery attached. The unit will recycle and that may solve the problem. You will, however, need to continue to dock the unit without the battery...

ERROR: Antenna Not Detected

My PNP2 unit has a few of the prongs missing where the antenna mount connects to the back of the reciever, when its in my car, i usually just pull the reciever out of the craddle just a small amount and it usually gets a connection. When its in my home dock, I use a bent credit card at the top to pry it out just a little to get a connection. Its a pain but seems to get it working.

No antenna detected

More than likely, it is the antenna. Sad to say, but the Sirius antennas go bad very easily. Make sure there is no undue pressure on the antenna wire itself, as that can aide to premature failure. Bad antennas are the number one reason for the unit to read 'antenna not detected.' I have seen plenty of the antennas go bad and they were not misused one bit. If you contact Sirius, they're usually pretty good at understanding the misfortune of losing your paid service. Sometimes they'll ship you out a new antenna.

Starmate 4 acquiring signal

With the antenna plugged in, it may take a minute to aquire the signal. If it takes more than a minute there is a problem with the antenna or the reciever.
