I have not dropped the camera, got it wet or done anything that I think to cause it to break. However today when I turned the phone on, the screen was completely white when trying to take photos. It can still display previous photos, but all photos now taken are white... Please help!
There might be two issues here (1) your phone 's operating software is corrupted with virus or viruses if there are some unusual applications which are running and difficult to uninstall try to root your phone and uninstall them you can use king root to do this , (2) your phone 's hardware connection from the camera to the motherboard is disturbed try to open the phone and clean it, your can also look for dry joins , if you have a hot air station you can blow the motherboard ,take not of the temperature. try to view photos from another memory card

This problem is caused by a stuck shutter assembly. Normally the shutter is open which allows light to enter the image sensor and show you the live preview you see on the screen. When you take a picture the shutter closes which allows the image sensor to record what was seen at the exact moment the shutter closed. The shutter is stuck closed, causing the image sensor to always be in the dark. These shutter assemblies are extremely small and delicate. The miniature parts can become jammed with just the slightest bit of oil or contaminant, or the slightest misalignment of components. The problem can sometimes be fixed by gentle tapping of the camera on a solid surface. If you are going to try this be VERY careful, and do not tap the camera on the buttons, lens, or battery door. If this does not solve your problem then the camera is going to have to be taken apart and the shutter cleaned and reset to allow free movement. This repair costs $125 to $145.

With the power off, hold the camera in your palm and smack the front of the camera on your leg or arm. You might have to smack it a few time to get it to work. It has to do with the camera CDD lense (shuttle) being stuck. By smacking it around, it will free up the lense. Being extra gentle with it though. It worked for me. Hope this help.

The CCD is dead or the lens shutter doesn't open. You have to contact your local Canon service center.
Hope this helps!

Think that you might have accidentally pressed the DISP or DISPLAY button on the back of your camera. This manually turns the LCD display on and off to save batteries. You would then use the optical viewfinder in its place. To turn the screen back on, just press the DISP button one more time.
